These footballers today have an example to set our young folk. Your right how can they be looked up to when they are paid a fortune and think this is it they have made it they can do anything they like? Outside of the game in my opinion they bring bad press on themselves and I fear they are sometimes as bad as some of the rogue so called fans!! I think they are too young and really don't know how to handle their money, the attention ( good or bad) and just let their ego overtake them. I really think DB should have talked to the cameras last night.........gawd knows what the papers are gonna be saying this AM. *off soap box* LOL Much happiness Debi

Marion, quite agree, footballers are not 'heroes' they are only doing a job they enjoy and getting really well paid for it. Maz - wahoooooo - Spurs fans must stick together!!!!!

Nope they told the sky reporter that they wouldn't be talking to the press at all on account of the bad press they recieved ............. Poor david James was replaced with a DONKEY in one tabloid, they even went as far as putting DONKEY EARS that you can cut out. I just think its very bad form of them not to explain why they wont talk ( via DB) Much happiness Debi

Well England won against Poland to night and because they received bad written press last game where they drew they have collectively decided NOT TO speak to the SKY Sports reporters.............ABOVE THEMSELVES OR WOT?!?!?!
