susie in high wycombe and my husband are related - what a brilliant discovery to make :-) we havent worked out the actual relationship - will probably be 7th cousins 8 times removed - but it is a link lol - so that means we BOTH now have the weird names in our trees.

Sandra - its soooo exciting - Susie and I had been joking at the weekend about a link - and she found it on Monday - then we swapped gedcom files and discovered about 20 names in common - and THEN we are in touch with someone else from genes who may have links to us as well -

Sandra, good morning to ou. Lovely day here too, I am off to tenerife tomorrow (going up to gatwick this afternoon, early flight.), I have a wonderful husband, two fantastic kids and five lovely grandchildren of whom I am very proud. I have a reasonable standard of living and am reasonably healthy. And, as I am retired i don't have to get up in the morning for work. life is good!! :)))))) As the Sunday school chorus goes "Count your blessings, name then one by one, count your blessings see what God has done, Count your blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done".
