jeanette, what was wrong with lindas thread.i haven't read it but cannot comment on that.i have always found lyndas threads alright and she has never offended me with them.we have had problems with squabbling in the past and i hope this is not going to flare up again as the boards have been nice and fun for a while.as for elaines thread she has not mentioned you by name so i cannot see the problem with removing that thread.she is just speaking up for linda and asking for us to support linda as she has been upset with this.lets all get back to a nice fun thread rather than being at each others throatsxxx(:

I appreciate what your saying Fee but I have been ignoring threads like these for over 18 months and it's getting worse instead of better dispite other members asking for the fighting to stop. I don't think I'm the only one who's fed up. Call this my one protest against it all Jeanette x

I agree that the board should return to being the happy place it was previously but asking for threads to be removed isnt promoting harmony but furthering antagonism. It is best,I feel to let it go and answer those threads which dont offend you and ignore those threads which you feel are antagonistic or offensive to you. This isnt meant to offend .

It was me who asked for Lyndas thread to be removed. It was not meant as a personal slight against her, but more of a protest against all the pettiness and squabbling that goes on on this board. I have spoken to Lynda and Judy in the past and found them BOTH to be pleasant and helpful. All I want is for the boards to return to being the happy place they used to be. For the record I also asked for the 'save our Lynda' thread to be removed but GR said that as it was light hearted and would leave it as long as it remained so. That was before Elaine updated though. Please let's stop all this nastiness and try and get along. Jeanette x
