Hi Wayne, I think that if you can get over any legal problems it's a brilliant idea. Lots of people have access to genealogy sites but the fact that they would have someone 'on tap' to help them make the most of them is great. I can see an International chain in the making! - make Britain's in Bolton and Mitcham first! Magsx |

I agree - a great idea ...... and yes Bolton - Middlebrook / Reebock Centre would be good great location and the football stadium is there also... so lots of passing trade - I would definately use it G xxx |

Copywrite may be a problem but you should be able to buy multiple use licenses, you can for most software. |

Hi Wayne, I don't want to rain on your parade but you may have problems with copyright issues. Many CDs specifically say they are for one person's use only and I think membership of some websites is the same. If you are running an open business someone is sure to rat on you. Gwynne |

Im thinking of opening a Genealogy Cafe.......... Say 5 or 6 PC's with hi speed internet access, I will have copies on CD of all the census'es as well as paid access to the many online websites that can be accessed as well. I will also have copies of Genealogical software for sale as well as other research material and books. I will run teaching clases for using the software, scanning pics and using programs like photo shop. I need some feed back as to what you all think of such an idea. Wayne |
