Susie, I know I often laugh with the old bird about how selfish she is not to have been born 3 years earlier... even more frustrating is she can give me all the details on her side of the family going back generations but she hasn't a clue on Granddad's at all!! Aaargghhh!! ;o)

Hello Diana Your Grandma sounds like a wonderful woman. If she was a bit older she'd be on the 1901 census!! I hope she and all her family have a lovely day on the 22nd. That was my Nan's birthday too, but sadly she died 7 years ago at the age of 84. Not a bad innings though!!

My grandma is going to be 100 on the 22nd..... for the last 30 years since Grand-dad has passed over she has said that she will make 100 and then go find Grand-dad (her one and only love) So a bit mixed on emotion cos me really proud of her but don't want to lose her yet!! She's my inspiration as she has spent the last 30 years living on her own in a 3 bed house with no home help what so ever until earlier this year..... she has suffered 3 strokes this year but still refuses to go into a home.... as you can tell I love my grandma!!
