Gee, I think it makes you first cousins once removed. I got a chart from the Tips board and I had it out yesterday to work out me and my new rellie. I know how you're feeling today - I'm there too because I had contact from my great-aunt's granddaughter yesterday. Brilliant isn't it?!!!!! Mandy :)

Just to let you know.... I have just received an email from him confirming he IS the rellie I was looking for, I didn't know he existed until recently, My Grandfather's Sisters son.... I am so excited I haven't worked out what that makes him to me yet! I look forward to getting to know my newly discovered rellies very soon. Happy G xxx

And I am very excited for you! btw our dear departed ancestors are referred to as relics on certain documents ie wills and on some gravestones! Joy

I meant relatives but I have the habit of calling the relics as my god-daughter calls her parents the relics as she thinks anyone over 25 is old and crumbly!! ;O)

I know this won't mean much to most of you and they do say small things please small minds...... However I have just found a cousin of my Dad's who lives in Oz! Through Friends Reunited !!! I have been trawling the email white pages and various Oz sites trying to find him and he was under my nose all the time - Duh! I have sent a message and almost I'm positive it's him - fingers crossed :-))) G xxx
