it is awful when kids are in hospital, my 12 year old had his tonsills out a fortnight ago(so has had to miss start of school) and walking with him to aneasthetic room and watching while they put him to sleep was horrendous, i broke my heart, but hubbie was worse. Nathan who is at hospital today is 16 tomorrow so he isn't a little one anymore but he is still my baby thanks for the good wishes tracey x

i am off to the hospital with my son at half eleven. he has a problem with iron in his blood and has to have monthly infusions. it has been going on for some while and his peadiatrician has ordered loads of 'special tests' some take 4 weeks to come back, meanwhile through the summer hols he has had to have weekly blood tests to monitor his iron levels. Today we should get all the results and find out what the problem is. I know the last lot of tests had something to do with enzymes. I see his doc often and have never been nervous before, but today feel like i have a brick in my stomache.I know you will keep your fingers crossed for good news, just felt like i needed to share my nervousness with someone.it's his birthday tomorrow so i hope we don't get any bad news. tracey x
