Bridget your poem is so touching, why dont you send it to a national newspaper and maybe they could get it printed out in beslan. it would let them know that so many people are grieving for them. Tina

Oh, mothers of Beslam, for you our hearts bleed. In one tragic day you were brought to your knees. What started out as a happy bright day. Saw the seeds of your lions brutally taken away. Those dreams for your children, locked in your heart. Like sands in the wind, blown apart. Your children’s, children never to see. Nor to hold and comfort on a nana’s worn knee. While our culture and language may not be the same. No barriers exist in a mother’s pain. Yet, nothing we can say or do. Can ease the pain, help see you through. The sorrow, heartbreak, and tears that we shed. For your children, gunned and mowed down as they fled. Across the miles we send this prayer. May your God enfold you in his care. And help to heal your hearts so sore. For your precious children who are no more.
