I hate to be the one to add this but does anyone remember a national newspaper comming up with its own theories just hours after the crashes? They reckoned that this event had been fortold years ago just because you could fold an american bank note (cant remember which denomination) into what appeared to be a picutre of the plane crashing into a tower! There will always be those willing to make up theories. ie Diana, did we ever go to the moon, Kennedy Just which one do we believe?

Nell - I agree about not wanting to make decisions re stray planes but, then, I am not in the security division and paid to make them! I listened to those fatherless children on the news this morning and your heart bleeds for them 'cos they are never going to escape the images and horror, as the media reminds us constantly.

Hi, I saw the programme which convinced me there was nothing to most of the far out theories. Especially the one about the pentagon really being hit by a missile not the plane and that the crew and passengers of the plane living under false name. However, it was interesting to see how "close" the Bush family are to the Saudi Royal family. And I could see why people think terrorists make money on the stock exchanges. Most of the theories are already on the internet. Google will find them. Gwynne

I'm the same as Linda from Bolton . . . unfortunately I didn't see the programme (wished I had) so can you explain the theories?

Dilys Didn't see the programme, but I think I can probably believe almost anything. Truth is certainly stranger than fiction. By the way, the only way to effectively "divert" a plane that refuses to be diverted is either to crash another plane into it or to shoot it down. I am very glad I will never be in a position to have to make that kind of choice. nell

What a disturbing prog last night.........how on earth would you feel if one of your loved ones had perished in the twin towers (or Pentagon) and you were hearing some of those theories? But, I must admit, some of it had a ring of truth. I always thought how impossible it was for three planes to be off their paths and not diverted, long before they did their dreadful deeds. What does everyone else think?
