if the swearing comment refer to the "don't let the b*stards get you down"... well surely on a genealogical site, we should all be used to that... I thought it was rather apt myself. If anyone else if offended by the word, I shall remove it

well that just takes the biscuit doesn't it. You think everythings done and dusted and then it all gets stirred up again. Am not enterely sure what I'm supposed to have said this time - swearing ? no idea what this is in refernce to - I certainly can't find anything in what I've said. Anyone care to fill me in ? Oh and Lou... very disappointed that you chose to raise this on the board, rather than email me direct (which, after all, is what I keep being told I should do). Makes me wonder why I bother sometimes.

Hi guys, Nice to see we're a bit more civil now :) One of my favourite saying, quite apt really is "Don't let the b*stards get you down" another good one that I depend on a lot is of course the old beatles song ("'ll get by with a little help from my friends" :) Paul (aka the lesser of two evils ?) PS, mother in law is fine thanks, wasn't apendix, was a water infection (she's had them on and off since she came home after her stroke), moving towards her kidneys, hence the pain. She's home now with better (hopefully) antibiotics
