Grumpy Old Men

Anyone see last night's episode or for that matter the series they did last year? Don't watch a great deal of TV but one of the most amusing programmes around at the moment, IMHO and usually find myself nodding my head in agreement. Any resident 'grumpies' on this site? If so, have your say, what really gets your goat?

hi andy i'm sure your not grumpy or the other men on here, i can only get grumpy on my own as no man to annoy me, the only thing that really annoys me is leaving the top off the toothpaste, and people that don't indicate when driving lol sandra

Yep, it's a new series, some of the faces from the previous series (Rory McGrath, Arthur Smith, Rick Wakeman etc) are back again but there are some new faces, Jeremy Clarkson (always good for a laugh), Andrew Marr, Bill Bryson plus others. One of the funniest moans from last night's episode was when Arthur Smith commented on all-seater seating at football grounds, which he agreed with in principle if it wasn't for the fact that whenever someone scores a goal or looks like they are about to score a goal, people jump up in anticipation. So, you have to jump up as well otherwise you can't see anything, all of which means that after 90 mins, you're more knackered than the players! Lou, I know, what's going on! lol

I am lucky to have one of my own.......but wouldn't change him for the world.Love the program and we both sit nodding in agreemant and laughing. Latest to my grumpy old man is.... Won't use any new tools....which he has loads all kept in a 4ft high chest...has to use the old ones as he doesn't want to get the new ones dirty. So I ask why keep buying the dam things then.Oh and just this afternoon he decided to start digging the base for the shed to go on. It started to rain just a few spots which stopped as soon as it started, but Oh no cant carry on just in cast it does rain. Doesn't matter that I was out there cutting the grass with an electric lawnmower MEN...don't you just love them...... bless Lynn
