John, In their defence, it's often very difficult to say how long a piece of work like this will take - no doubt the team attempted to resolve the problem before deciding to install a new server - all of which takes time. Been there, done that, got the T shirt. Paul

Thanks Michelle. It was really bad wording to say, "restore very shortly". I and many others kept going back frequently to be greeted with the same message. Happy now though.

Michelle, Thank you for letting us all know what happened. I do think however that the message that the site was down for "planned mantenence" was somewhat misleading in these circumstances - perhaps consider re-wording it in future ? Paul

Hi everyone, We would like to apologise for the site difficulties over the weekend. GR experienced a database problem which caused the site to shut down on Saturday evening. Our technical team worked all weekend on this and have now installed a new database server. The site should now be fully functional. If you experience any problems please email support.
