Hello Lynda. Did you know that the song Run Rabbit Run was inspired by the 1st bomb to land on mainland Britain in World War II which killed 1 rabbit. True!

Now, The REALLY clever thing to do, would be to get the music on here as well...........Boom Boom! Does any one remember a Flanagan and Allen Parody. " They're building flats where the Arches used to Be........" There's somebody eating, where we used to be sleeping, They're paying rent where we once lived rent free....... They're building flats, Where the Arches used to be.......... I believe that it dated from the early days of flat disc,recordings.. Bob

Hiya Lynda, same song but with a few differences. Your version sounds more like one I could sing to our grandchildren. Anyway how come a young thing like you knows an old song like that?? Maureen

I've just replied to the "emotive music" thread which reminded me of a song my dad used to sing to me when I was a little girl "Your the end of the rainbow" and I wondered if anyone else knew it. It's a lovely song for a daughter. He also used to sing an Al Jolsen song to my brothers called " Climb upon my knee sonny boy". Brought back any memories?
