Caladryl cream

I've just come back from a week in England and tried everywhere to buy a tube of Caladryl cream. I gave my last one to my granddaughter. Nobody seems to have heard of this cream. Can anyone tell me whether it has been discontinued or not? I used this cream on all my children, taking it with me to the tropics, and now am stuck for a replacement. Of course we have creams here, but Caladryl was a name that I trusted. Sylvia xxx |

Funnily enough Sylvia, I used it a few years ago when my older two children had chicken pox, but when the youngest two had them in May I couldn't find it anywhere, so perhaps it has been discontinued. Christine |

Hi Sylvia Have just looked up Caladryl and it is a brand name ,the cream contains an anthistomine drug and calamine so it is possible that they do not use this antihistomine drug anymore .Calamine comes in lotion or cream . i used it and still do for bites and stings etc . Val |
