The Human Rights Act - it needs a serious overhaul to say the least - and now! It was never meant to be used as a springboard for trivial litigation - some of the cases brought about because they 'infringe' someone's 'human rights' are ludicrous to say the least. The Immigration and Asylum Act - we cannot be the first port of call for everyone who fancies economic migration. Genuine asylum seekers have always been welcome in this country and will continue to be welcome as far as I am concerned but we must find a better way of filtering 'the wheat from the chaff'. As far as I am concerned too, any immigrant to this country who does not abide by our laws gets deported back to their country of origin, not imprisoned. They all have a choice as to whether or not they will be law abiding citizens. Community Policing - A waste of time and money - if you saw a Community Police Officer on their beat - would you assume that you could appeal to them for help in breaking up a fight or apprehending a burglar/mugger/murderer ? They have no powers of arrest nor are they trained in violent situations. They may be half the cost of a regular police officer but give me half their number in police officers on the beat that can actually do something. They would be better advised to spend money in training civilian clerical staff to deal with the mountain of paperwork officers have to deal with. That would release police officers to the job they were employed for - targetting and tackling crime. Well you did ask! Magsx

I would like to see a major upheaval of the Child Support law so that should an ex partner (parent with care) remarry or reside with a new partner then the amount of money coming into the household eg.tax credits, should be taken into account when calculating the amount of maintenance the parent without care should be expected to pay.Currently, any money coming into the parent without care's household excluding wages of a partner is included for calculationeg.tax credits.Give with one hand and take with another.Surely there is something wrong there. If the parent with care and spouse can bring in any money and claim tax credits and live the life of reilly leaving the parent without care in a state of poverty then the law is surely an ass. Also, equality for fathers needs a damn good looking into.

change what there doing to us and the adults of the future.free speech which doesn't exist.if you so much as say anything that is deemed racist.you could be thrown in the slammer.what the goverment have to say is did these views on race rear their ugly head up twenty years ago.yes it did but since the asylum issue has come up,people are fed up with paying their way and suffering financially themselves.CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME.it shouldbe said that the people that seek asylum say their lives are in danger and no doubt some of them are.but what about homeless people that were born in this country who are dying of disease ,hunger and hyperthermia every day.what do they get.no free handouts like a roof over their heads.i rest my casex
