Hi everyone. Just wondered iff anyone on here was from, or around, St Albans? Or maybe you have family in the area. Probably a long shot, but I guess it's one way to start a discussion. Don't worry, there is a reason behind all this, just don't want to go into it right now on line.

Whereabouts in St Albans are your family from/living? Anywhere near Cottonmill or Hatfield/Ashley Road area?

Sorry if it sounds mysterious. It is just regarding a relative whom I am trying to find out more about. But it is of rather a sensitive nature, hence the mystery. My fathers name is Peter Brown, my mum is Mary Brown nee Youngs. My paternal grandfather was Thomas Brown of Cottonmill area, he attended Dagnall Street Baptist Church in the last part of his life. Just thought I might as well make a start somewhere! Thanks anyway.
