I have recieved umpteen messages from a supposed GR member: The first one was about my Life after death thread and the second one and the rest afterwards were to allow this member access to my tree. I have refused many times and asked this member to identify themselves and prove a link into my family - but now I have just recieved a message that the text on there screen from me is distorted. I have e-mailed support with my concern and I have looked this member up and nothing is linking. Any more suggestions - oh and I have deleted all this members e-mails to me and asked them not to contact me again unless they can prove they belong in my family. The flaming cheek !!!

Don't allow them access and you have done the right thing contacting Genes support about this. And I agree with Joy it is definately abuse. If I were you I wouldn't delete any more messages / emails from them as they are your evidence. If it continues - I would contact the police if necassary. Take care Tracy G xxx

Had an e-mail back from Alex at support and have been assured that nobody can view anybodys tree without their permission - but it is strange that the GR Member has not even asked again nor have I heard from them today - hopefully they got the message !!!!!!!!!
