Don't know if this is much help, but cats don't like tin foil. This could be placed in pieces where they go most (obviously wheighted down by stones etc!) Or strips attached to a nearby plant close to the ground. If all else fails a chair and hose pipe and a good aim! Good hunting Gina

Brian, As a cat owner, I have the same sort of problem, However it is from other cats using my litter tray. I put a litter tray in my garden for my cat to stop him doing his business elsewhere. Good as I know he uses it. But so do about 4 other cats in the area! I suppose its in the right place at least! I have heard that you can use tea bags soaked in Olbas oil, I wasn't too sure until i put some of the oil near my cat and he freaked! He didn'like it at all, so it may be worth a try. Pat

Can anyone suggest a solution to stop cats from doing their business in my sons' garden. His garden seem to be a magnet for neighbourhood cats to use as a toilet. He is sick and tired of his three year old son finding cat droppings in the garden. He has tried just about everything, orange peel, Jeyes Fluid, animal repellent powder - nothing seems to work. Unfortunately he doesn't know where the cats live or he would return the droppings to the cat owners.
