Hold it a week later. Build a large fire, make an effigy of someone (T Blair if you must) stuffed with newspaper. Place effigy on fire and light it. Set off some fireworks and think "Why does everyone follow that US cr*p?".

hi - you can make a really creepy ice hand to go in the centre of the table- add some food colouring to some water - pour into a rubber glove - i found the see thru disposable ones good- put in freezer - as its freezing you can bend the fingers in whatever direction you want - when it is frozen stand on a plate/dish full of crushed ice (helps to balance it & keep it cold) as it starts to melt - it drips - we had red ones & it looked like blood oozing down the side of the hand! i also have a recipe to make "ghost" cakes - message me if you want it! also lanterns are easy to make out of old tins - any more info message me ttfn sam

Decorate the exterior as follows: • fake grave in the garden with cardboard tombstone and fresh flowers scattered on top. • webbing across any fencing or trees you have in the garden. • candles everywhere: tealights, tall garden candles lining the path and if possible lanterns hanging from trees. • and of course you must have a pumpkin on your doorstep • Decorate the interior as follows: • webbing across mirrors, banisters and anywhere it can hang • plastic spiders and bats hanging from ceiling • have a horror movie playing but with the sound muted • hang orange streamers from the lights, pictures etc • put some red dye in the water before making your ice cubes boil up 8 bags of cheap spaghetti and added some oil to make it slimy, then drop prizes into it for the kids t delve into on the way out - ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friend had a halloween party last year and covered her whole ceiling in black bin liners, then that funny stuff like cotton wool that stretches out to look like cobwebs (sorry but dunno what its called!). She stuck skeletons and witches all round the walls and dangling from strings. (She collects this stuff anyway - weird woman!). This year she is gonna get some red smoke bombs apparently, but maybe you can get a smoke machine or dry ice machine from party/dress up shop? All the adults and kids dressed up too. I am not bad with pumpkins, so carved 3 huge ones for her. Traditionally you would do apple bobbing, but not sure what else?? Maz. XX
