Good news for Susie. The intravenous antibiotics finished at midnight Friday and she is now on two weeks of oral antibiotics. The next scan will be in two weeks (we've gone a month between scan) and on Monday morning it's back onto the ward at the hospital to have the Hickman line taken out. I've never seen such a change in a person as Susie on Friday night and the Susie that woke up on Saturday. She seemed so much more livelier. We (dad and I) think it's just a relief to her that, at last, it looks as though there really is a light at the end of that very dark long tunnel. I'm sure that after the Hickman line is out she going to feel so much better.
