When I worked in London and had to be fairly smart I loved living in jeans/t-shirt at weekends. When I had children it was lovely just wearing baggy tops and leggings for a bit. Then I yearned to be more glamorous. I once parked the double buggy outside the changing room and tried on a lot of gorgeous evening wear, far too posh for anything I would ever go to and pretended I was going to buy it. Now I work in a school and have a "uniform" of comfy tops and casual/smart trousers. I have jeans for weekends again and I have lots of layers for watching rugby. But like Marion I am a handbag obsessive - I keep thinking if only I could find the perfect bag my life would be complete. Sad. But my older son is well trained, he drags me away from bag shops, as I plead "I just want to look" he says kindly but firmly "No point. You don't need any more bags, you have small ones, big ones, bright ones and plain ones"! Now I avoid splurging out by thinking about how many certificates I could buy instead! nell
