Why do they not organise buses to pick up children to and from school. They do it in Europe, why not here............oh I know.......the costs. But then everybody moans about the extra traffic. It works like this. The bus waits say at the top of the childs road and the Mums just walk them to it. Easy pezy really!

Why do.... I always misjudge the amount of time needed to get anywhere, and end up late (case in point Tuesday night, got to Manchester 10 minutes after kick off).

I do have some sympathy for the mums taking the kids to school - normally the drop of points are totally inadequate - they have to stop somewhere, either that or throw the little darlins out as they pass at 30mph lol

Asda just irritates me, I buy the 9p noodles for my little boy sometimes and lo and behold they moved them. So I asked someone where they were and yep they were at the very top. So you have to stand on tip toe and pull the box down. And Heinz baked beans which are the most popular they are on the top shelf, the amount of times I have been there and the little old ladies are looking up and cant reach them. And yes I am one of these annoying mothers that drives to school, and outside is a little roundabout which you can get four cars on, and as it is a school roundabout I sometimes parked on there. Came out the other day after 4 minutes and a policeman was giving me a ticket, I knew I was in the wrong. He asked me if I knew why I wasnt aloud to park on it and I said yer but it's not a real roundabout is it, He said yes but look up there to the road that lead to it. I accepted defeat. I felt so embarassed with all the nosy mums watching. And do you know for a couple of weeks after the amount of people I went up to and told them I had had a ticket, they just said i;m only popping in. I told them that is what I did and do you know they all look at me as though I am completely stupid and they still park there. I was just unlucky that day as it was the policemen that visits the school.

It was'nt me Nick ,honest, yep ,me too ,it happens to me all the time.In Newcastle ,our loony council have changed all the roundabout markings ,and now you can turn extreme right from the nearside lane, crazy or what. You need eyes in your ar****** these days.liz says ,why is it that shops fill shelves so high that the product has to be lifted up on a forklift ,and you are expected to be buillt like Darth Vader to reach them, she is five foot two ,so you can guess who gets this job when shopping.Fred.ptfg.

In terms of driving, I have three quick observations. Firstly, why is it that everytime you go driving in your car, you have to drive for other people. Secondly, why do people still not know how to use roundabouts properly even though they have been in existence for quite some time now. Finally, why do people driving on freeways/motorways decide to use an exit when it is about 27 centimetres away from them and then expect everyone else to shove out of the way as they push across three lanes to get to it. Why do manufacturers assume that anyone over size 18 is 6'4" with arms like a gorilla??

Dorothy - what about pedestrians who press the button then run across just before the lights change to red - then you are sat there drumming the steering wheel like a lemon lol

Clothes shops have rails so high, that you need extending arms to reach them!..

Dorothy,i think the reason the cyclists were on their bikes was to try and get out of the way of a mad woman driving a car through their factory.,lol, but other than that i can,t think why a pensioner would rather go shopping in the rush hour ,instead of mid morning ,or afternoon.weird.My pet hate is cyclists who given a proper cycle lane at the side of the roads insist on using the paths to the detriment of pedestrians, iv,e been knocked off my feet twice by them ,both adult ,and then been given a mouthful of abuse and being told i should have gotten out of the way.Fred,ptfg.

Dorothy - I had to follow one home today - she kept a gap big enough for a juggernaut between her and the car ahead!!

Pensioners go to the local supermarket to do their weekly shop/gossip with Checkout girl - at lunchtime when all the office workers are queuing - against the clock - to get their lunch/urgent supplies.................. Driving instructors bring their nervous and understandably slow, pupils out on the roads just as the 'going home and want to get there as quickly as possible' rush hour starts..................
