iWAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS DONE ANYTHING REALLY OUT OF THE ORDINARY AND UNUSUAL. When I was at school in Chester in 1947 we had a really hard Wnter and the river Dee froze over. The Nuns, who were game for anything got us all dressed up warmly and took us down to walk on the frozen river. One said You will tell your grandchildren about walking on the Dee Rose

My sister did a charity desert walk a few years ago and she said that the sheer vastness and silence was awesome. Then my sister-in-law did the great wall of China last year and came back nearly on her knees. I warned 'Debbie In the pINK' to do plenty of step training before she goes. I would so love to do that , - We have storm chased in this country but it is mild by comparison. It doesn't get a rating really does it. I love the film,can't remember the name,but you know the one I mean,where they send liitle balls up into the storm cloud. Wonderful Rose
