wE USED TO TELL THIS ONE AT MY CONVENT. (READ IN iRISH ACCENT) Leaving Day The upper sixth were all lined up to take their leave of Reverend Mother she stopped and had a few words with each girl, 'Ah, Mary dear and what will you be doing?' asks the old Nun smiling. 'Oh,Reverend Mother I'm going to be a Doctor' 'Wonderful,an excellent vocation' 'And Cathrine what have you decided to do?' She said smiling in beatification at one of her favourites, 'Reverend Mother I want to be a Teacher' Excellent,excellent said the Nun happy at such a good choice. Then she approached Pauline who had always been a pain- 'What will you be doing with yourself then' She asked,not really very interested. Bold as brass Pauline flings her head back and says loud enough for all to hear 'I'm going to be a Prozzy' With that the old Nun faints When she comes round she says in a feeble voice, 'What was that you said?' 'A prozzy Reverend Mother, a prostitute, they make a lot of money' 'Oh Sweet Jesus,Mary and Joseph, Thank Goodness. I THOUGHT YOU SAID A PROTESTANT' ENJOY ROSE |
