Mine's Ann after my Grandmother - if I'd been named after the other one I would have been Florrie! My brother is Roy after Dad and Grandad. My husband is William after his uncle, great uncle, great grandfather, GG uncle, GGG uncle..........etc etc etc! LOL Our kids are not named after anyone - we thought it would save arguments LOL They are David, Jane, Louise and Edward - common middle names so I'm told! Sue |

Mine is Patricia, my son Paul's middle name is Stephen and my husband Steve was the only child in his family not to be given one so he used to pretend it was Michael! :0) Aileenx |

Ruth, after my mother. If I'd been named after my dad... My dad's middle names were Frederick Randall my mum's Smoothy, which she has never liked, for obvious reasons! |

Paul,I've got my gran to thank for that. She named me after every Queen she could think of. Rosemary was for rememberance for my dead( fatherWW11 ) and both Grans fell out over my first name. I don't know which I would have loathed more Rosemary which I got lumbered with or Primrose which I escaped by the skin of my teeth. A primrose I aint Paul pity me form filling! |

I taught abroad a lot and had children in one class in Africa called Red Telephone and Trolleybus and another called Mission Sunday. The worst one I ever came across,because I thought it was cruel was a child called Tania Hyde, the parents thought it very funny Rose |
