My wife got salmonella from dodgy mussells in France. She was a Nursery Nurse then working with prem babies in a special care baby unit so she had to take a month off work untill she was certified clear.

I had a terrible upset about 15 years ago which was put down to salad - but was never actually told that it was Salmonella. Had to take a sample to the hospital - a most unpleasant experience all round. Maz. XX

My Dad had that about 3 weeks ago. He was told it was due to contaminated lettuce. Never heard of that before. He was ill for about a week with it. And we just thought it was my Mum's cooking!!! Estelle
