No Kylie I dont think you are being mean at all, the boys will have a great time and will probably prefer it to staying at home anyway. Plus they'll be tired when they come home!! LOL Why just the 2 days each week though?? I'd send mine for the full two weeks.... LOL Shaz x

I used to put my boys into a playscheme for 4 weeks of the long summer hols. I think having been organised by other people at school they found it hard to know what to do without me organising them. There are only so many games of Monopoly I can play without going mad! Now they are older, and make their own social arrangements a lot of the time, but I enjoyed their company much more this holiday and we can now do things I enjoy as well as them. Younger son will be 11 next summer and on his last playscheme before 2ndary school! I think if the kids are happy and you're happy that's what matters. nell

why is that being mean, they are having fun, socialising etc, at home they get bored etc. there is nothing worse than being stuck in doing the same old thing, time and time again, children need a variety of things. they'll enjoy it and love it. :-)

Sounds like it could be fun and next holiday they will most likely be beging to go, if more parents found some thing in the holidays kids would be better for it..go for it you should all feel better at the end of the holidays Bev

You're not being mean at all, hon, they get so much out of going to places like that and being with other children.
