Regards The EU..........when I was a lad, six countries, got together to make a club ....I will give you discounts, if you give ME a discount, sort of thing, against the rest of the worlds trade. and since then the club has expanded,, and now includes nearly ALL of Europe........so now. the benefit of discounts has all but evaporated, surely.............?

Have a fab hol, be sure to give me a wave as you pass by my place. If you think its quiet now, think yourself lucky, especially with some of the conflicts of the past, that us old poor researchers have endured ! So what about the Kerry/Bush debates ? Mandleson, Johnny as captain, theres lots to talk about. It seemed years ago a political term was 5 yrs, now Mr Blair could complete 3 terms in under 12 yrs with planning. Whats your view of Europe now that Turkey is invited to join, can it work? What is going to happen in Cyprus? Hows that for starters, Derek in France
