With 3 boys I have many moments but one that sticks in my mind was when my oldest started school, his 1st day he came out and moaned he didn't have any words in a tin to learn, the next night the same thing again, so I asked the teacher when he would have some, she gave him 12 words in his tin and told me not to worry if he didn't know any of them as he was 2 weeks in front of the other children, the next day he went back a big grin on his face, he ran to his teacher and told her he could read 9 of them, and true to his word he could, she had to five him more after that....now mum was grining with pride :) Bev

Yes, we think being able to swim is so important. It is one thing I don't mind spending money on. So how about the rest of you? What are your proud parent/grandparent moments? I would love to hear them.

What's yours? Today my little boy ( he has just turned 4 two weeks ago) swam 10 metres all on his own - no armbands, ring or anything. He has lessons once a week and did so well. I was really choked and had a tear in my eye. He got a badge for it and was chuffed to bits! Estelle
