Not everyone knows this! Britain has a new world champion! James Toseland has become the 2004 World Superbike Champ, in a closely fought series culminating at Imola on Sunday. He is just 23 and a true modest English sportsman. Why do we lavishly slaver after people like Tim Henman who is an abject loser and ignore people like James Toseland? Me no understandee!

That's brilliant. I haven't followed the Superbikes in a while (not much time with 2 kids under 3!) but remember the good old days of Fogarty, Chilli etc. Let's hope James carries on flying the flag for us, he certainly deserves the success
