Brilliant result Diane!! You must feel so much better for that loss and chuffed at your achievement. I know I could do this diet on my own now and save some money but knowing that it is costing me is giving me an incentive to work hard at losing, plus I go with 2 friends so we are all supporting each other. It does get better though, you don't have to pay when you reach your goal weight, provided you maintain it! LOL Aileenx

Lisa I can imagine it must have been tough! There are so many people who, even with the knowledge that their health could be in jeopardy, do nothing about it...unlike your hubby!! It is wonderful that he chose to join WW (regardless that he would be the minority male!) and stick with it. Fortunately I am only carrying a stone that needs shifting but it WILL go!! LOL Aileenx

I've lost 3 stone so far this year. I had a bit of stomach trouble almost a year ago and have to keep a low fat diet now. Although I found it really hard to lose any weight before, I find cutting out all the chips, crisps, chocolate etc., has worked for me. Still have the odd cake as that is my treat, every now and then. and it hasn't cost me a penny. Just a lot of fear!! Diane

Wow Lisa that is such an inspiration to know about your husband's weight loss and hear that he is maintaining his goal weight too....Absolutely brilliant when you consider that is a 70 lb loss! Aileenx

LOL!! Well done too Strump! I wish you all the best in your quest and support you through and through. My father in law decided to chuck his fags in the fire one New Year's Eve and quit...that was 30 years ago and he hasn't touched one since....go girl!! Aileenx
