Asking the eldest who she would like to marry, she responded that the man should also be a prince and have three dragons tattooed on his back, a sign of high rank. The father said that this was a good choice. On asking the second daughter her choice, she replied that she was not quite so choosy, but a prince with two dragons on his back would be satisfactory. The father was again happy. Turning to the youngest and the fairest, he asked her the same question. Her reply was that she would be extremely happy with a dirty big Irishman with one dragging on the floor.
