last year i bought myself a bike for a couple of reasons 1) to get fit and 2) to get to work , i weighed my self recently and was shocked to find i had lost TWO AND A HALF STONE . delighted as from joining railway 10 years ago i had put on over 4 stone in weight

Well done Sean !! I too bought a bike to try and lose weight, almost 2 years ago now. Sadly I've only ridden it twice and it's sat in the garage in need of some attention (the tyres have perished). I could do with losing about 1.5-2 stone, maybe I should get the new tyres fitted lol

Well done you.... I have already had comments about the weight I have lost since training so that's one of the benefits of this trek too.... I'll be skinny and gorgeous by the time i go off to China.... well thinner than I am now, i should say!! :O)
