Is any one getting involved in the wear it pink day on Friday 29th Oct. Its for Breat Cancer. I have organised a wear it pink day at work, everyone (male and female) have to wear something pink and donate £1.00 for doing so, those that dont will face a £2.00 fine. If you want to do something look on the web site - search under wear it pink. Should be a great laugh seeing as I work for the Council...... We are doing dares as to who wears the most pink, making and selling pink cakes, decorating offices in pink and just having a huge pink day. Should be great!!!! Jo

in my work we are having a pink day ,you have to wear pink and pay £2,we are also running a raffle for a hifi and are running a tombola ,raffle only being going for a few days and we have over £100 already our customers are really generous

Joanne how nice to see Cancer spoken about here in Italy after my two breast operations its still only whispered about still and hard to find someone to talk to - but thats how it is at the moment lovely to see you in the Pink when was in England last month bought a nice pink pin for cancer research wear it always but will also put something else pink on for the day xx

I have been so lucky that my department have agreed to participate and the PINK funds will go to our CR fundraising.... boosting it hopefully by another £300... fingers crossed everyone!!

So far this news is fantastic, I didnt realise so many people/companies would be joining in, well done every body - lets keep up the good work. Not only will we be raising money for a very good cause but seeing everyone in pink will be great (about 250 people in my place of work).

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you Rosemary, I have been sent 100 pink ribbons by Wear it Pink day campaign to sell at work so I hope they all buy one. Good Luck Jo

There is a site www.wearitpink*com and on there you can get ribbons etc for free to sell on the day to help raise money!! Hope this helps

I am being sponsored by my work colleagues to have my hair dyed pink for the day. The more money raised the brighter the pink will be!!!!

Joanne that is fantastic.... I am really looking forward to it.... Mind you the word at work is that I must be the only one on the day not to wear pink as they see me in Pink quite a lot.... especially now I have the Pink waterproof jacket!!

My hair has now under gone a massive change (much to the amusement of my work mates). Last week when I was last at work my hair was brown, today it is blonde (very blonde), had it bleached on Saturday ready for the pink to go on next Thursday night. My hair really will be pink... oh my god!!!
