Which year did it begin?I mean the Womens Liberation thing where women refused to wear bras etc. Anyone still refusing to wear a bra? Sylvia xxx

Hi Sylvia, It began in earnest in the mid 1960s. I'm proud to say that as a student in the 70s I was a member of Women's Lib. And I still rarely wear a bra! Seriously, though, it was about a lot more than underwear. Gwynne

I missed out on a lot of things from 1962-1968 as I was in Africa - no radio, no television. A very humble life, but peaceful. Sylvia xxx
