Daniel - I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through this tormenting experience becxx

You should set up a webcam so we can all see how annoying he is.

Bec

Bec Report 15 Oct 2004 14:16

And the milkshake is finished.... And the burping has begun!

Bec Report 15 Oct 2004 14:03

Daniel - Unfortunately I think I just have to put up with it but only for 3 more weeks! He's one of these people who seems to be socially inept and completely unware of how annoying he is.

Daniel

Daniel Report 15 Oct 2004 14:00

Why don't you start doing the same? When he does something annoying you do the same. He should get the message. Either that or he'll turn it into a game to see who can be the most annoying.

Hi Bec At least he's just burping at the moment. I worked with a junior who had a terrible wind problem - used to stink the office out. One day when he came in I got out a can of air freshener and sprayed near him. He scuttled off. I think I am a very subtle person! Lorrainex

Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 14 Oct 2004 20:25

roflmao because I too work with this man!!! Remember I work in a library. He walks/sits in the library belching (mouth open, full noise) or coughing/sneezing without his hand over his mouth. He also eats like a pig at a trough - although not fat - and has disgustingly foul smelling feet. He suffers from a lot of aches and pains - don't be surprised to walk into the staff room and find him on the floor doing stretches! When he got very hot and sweat was pouring off him, he grabbed the hand towel in the kitchen and mopped his bald head and face. uurrgghh. He has usually got toothpast down his jacket and his trousers are 2 inches up from his shoes. Oh and he always fancies the saturday assistants (17/18 year olds) and even thinks they fancy him _ THEY WOULD RUN A MILE IF THEY KNEW!!! Maz. XX

I work with someone ( not every day, thank God, but often enough) who does a "stream of conciousness" throughtout the day - "Now, where did I put my pen? I must do that paperwork, bet I didnt put the dustbin out" and so on. This is done in an undertone but just loud enough for me to hear.It drives me insane! Also, you cannot have a conversation with him, he just talks over you, having got hold of the wrong end of the stick anyway. Worst of all, though, he reads the paper and picks his nose - I want to heave just typing that! I frequently go home in tears.I am trying to drum up some support, to say I have been acting funny lately, then when I murder him I can plead insanity.

Who's in charge of Health and Safety at your place? Go to them, tell them this nerd's annoying habits are causing you pain and discomfort and ask to be moved to an alternative site. Tell them it is a serious complaint and you are very unhappy. Leave the rest up to them. If they cant or wont help, well...............just shoot him! Jacqui ps only 20 mins to go now

Paul - this guy has no excuses!!! Am just so sick of hearing his constant bursts of gas and heavy breathing. He also has the most annoying voice in the world and I have to do audiotyping! Only 31 minutes...

I used to work with a chap called Huw. he was horrible. Lived in a student house (Oxford) even though he was late 20s, lived like a student too - down the pub every night, his regular diet was several pints and a takeaway every night. Appalling breath, terrible wind, used to have shirts with tears in and stained pits. Hands were COVERED in warts. YUCK. He started going to the pub at lunchtimes, and was useless in the afternoons - turned out he was smoking things he shouldn't. Got the sack shortly afterwards when security caught him smoking it in the office :)

Only 50 minutes then I can escape! Don't get me wrong I'm an extremely tolerant and easy going person but this guy just drives me mad! Now he's doing his classic 'swinging from side-to-side on my chair kicking everything my feet come into contact with' thing which he should know is annoying. The worst thing is the constant belching/quiet burping. He's just a mass of gas!
