Thanks to everyone who wished me Happy Birthday for today. I wonder if I am unique in getting a Death Certificate for my birthday, it was in the post with my cards and was the first thing I opened - what does that say about me??

LOL Yvonne! Yep, means you're a truly hooked genealogist - not only did you get a death cert on your birthday, but you were pleased about it too! Have a great day, Mandy :)

Certainly is different, Yvonne, Remember when my Husband died, it was near my birthday, and I had sympathy cards and birthday cards together!..

Yvonne, before I started this family tree stuff, I would have thought that anyone wanting a death certificate for their birthday/Christmas had to be one sad person! But I can't say that now, because I'd be the same as you! Had presents of money last month, which enabled me to order 5 certificates! I was one happy lady. Glenys. Oops, I forgot - Happy Birthday!

Jeeez that's a strange gift..would have freaked me out. The worst gift I ever got was a tube of toothbrushes LOL, I must add that my teeth have always been fine, and I was probably 16 at the time. Strange all the same. Lisa x

Hope you had a great birthday. I haven't as yet received such a gift but strangely enough I told my husband only yesterday of 2 death certificates on my Christmas wish list. I do remember eagerly watching out for the postman to bring one around February 14 and thought that said it all.
