dan I had a marriage cert arive today and couldn't read the maiden name so I went on free bmd and just put the page and volume number date and area leaving the names out and it gave me the names of the husband and wife. jenny x

It's an irish one I brought earlier in the year. It's just the maiden name I can't make out.

Daniel, if it a certificate you have recently bought and really is illegible, send it back and ask for a legible one, or contact them first.

Right. I can't make out a name on a birth cert. I think it says Catherine O'shea as the name, but it's the maiden name I'm having trouble with. Would anyone be willing to take a look for me? Thanks.
