I may be really odd with this belief, but hear me out. I think this is HELL - NOT WITH BURNING FIRES as we see in mediaeval texts, but with all the trials and tribulations we have to encounter and over come inthis life. I also believe that we are hea to make the passage through this hell easier for our fellow travellers. We do this a lot on this site by our support for each other. Having said that just think of this, How many times have you thought Why does God allow children to suffer or such and such a disaster to happen. I have done it myself and railled at God for allowing Ken Bigley to die as he did. But if we are outside the realm of heaven, but working towards it, then some of the suffering comes into perspective Rose

Yes Jeanie, I still have ironing!, have to hide basket before my Mum sees it when she comes, and I get the duster out quick!, but I find this relaxes me, on here, but I must get a cushion for this chair, I've developed a crick in the back from this chair!..

Jeanie - yes I can relate to that! I haven't been working (well, in paid employment) since May and I had marvellous intentions of decorating, gardening etc. throughout the summer. Well, my tree has progressed...! I have hit a couple of brick walls so have decided to have a break for a while - really MUST do some painting!

I'm sitting here, with cat on lap, thinking about the above. Ever since starting this addictive hobby I seem to be ignoring all that seemed important before. Garden is a mess, most loved husband is being abandoned, he now watches TV on own! And we won't even consider the dust all over the house!! Having retired early in Dec. to enjoy ourselves, all I seem to do is spend hours in this tiny comp. room - except when the grandchildren come around but even then I find myself thinking about Gtx? grandfather. Any thoughts on the above Jeanie
