I put of going on HRT for so long, but my mood swings were getting bad I wanted to kill every one who looked at me LOL, my hubby said I was the Devil Wife, I still get hot flushes not as bad though, and as for achy legs my doctor said it is a lack of calcium have not had it since I started taking Vitamins,I hope this helps. Sorry this has to come from the wrong gender ladies ,but i saw a programme on tele two days ago that is trialling a new drug for this very problem,and said that any lady with serious problems should contact their gp. I used to give liz cold water baths to help her over it, but that was a few years ago Perhaps hubby might do the same for you.?Fred.ptfg.

Hi Pat I know how you feel, but believe me I have been on HRT patches for 7 years and would not be without them, you don't have to put up with hot flushes and aches and pains. Don't listen to people that speak about HRT with doom and gloom, I am on estrogin patches only and these are very safe and give me a new lease on life. If you want to talk more about it, get back to me Regards Wendy
