Hi John, I'm getting excited! It looks good for Kerry at the mo--especially cos Floridians are determined to vote, despite the Republican's trying to intervene--again! i can't understand how they got away with it last time, let alone this time! Did you see the end of Channel 4 news? It had the funniest cartoon of Kerry and Bush. Hopefully tomorrow we will hear Kerry's the one, and we might have new hope for the future! Fingers crossed!

I don't want to get into a political row, but I don't understand how anyone can possibly support a man who can't even string two words together, and probably can't even pronounce the word 'incumbent'! I can understand political differences--I'm sure those supporting Bush have their own perfectly valid beliefs, however I don't see how anyone can have faith in a man who calls terrorists "Those folks over there"! I still shudder at the memory of him standing in Ground Zero, on the graves of buried victims, yelling like an idiot at the workers on the site! Sorry, rant over!

Hi, After watching Farenheit 9/11 I can't imagine any US citizen voting Bush back in. All my US contacts are voting for Kerry. For some it's more a case of Not Bush rather than For Kerry. Gwynne

I'm not eligible to vote here yet and will watch the election with interest. I arrived in the States just as the last election was unfolding and was transfixed by what transpired. I WILL be voting as soon as I am able, but it always amazes me wherever I live that when it comes to election time, I'm hard pressed to find anyone who will admit to voting for the current incumbent. None of my friends here will admit to voting for Bush, so I will be interested to see who wins!!

Carol, YOU GO GIRL!!! Only wish I could vote, but my brother's a US citizen so will be voting--for Kerry of course! It scares me silly to think of Bush getting in again. Good luck Carol--I hope your vote helps! X

I have never voted in my life (I,m 54) not because I didn,t want to, but because I was never eligible. Wild horses won,t keep me away from voting this year!! Another 4 years of that man would be intolerable!

I'm in England, but my husband has American cousins who refer to Bush as Shrub, and are counting the days till the election. I have a feeling I know who they'll be voting for! Glenys.
