She's had them out (tonsils)

My daughter, who is 18, has had her tonsils out this afternoon. She's very groggy and was extreamly sick but seems ok now. Doctors said they were really very big and infected and she'll be better of without them. Hope she'll soon feel that way about them as well! I'm shattered 'cause I've worried like mad all day!!!! Hope she will be home tomorrow. Viv

Can imagine how much you will have worried Viv. It seems to take forever for them to tell you that the op. is over and everything is OK doesn't it? I hope you daughter is home soon to enjoy lots of TLC. I'm sure she will feel much better without infected tonsils. Try to get some rest yourself now.
