I am so tied up with the training and writing for auction pledges at the moment that standing around street corners with a bucket is the last thing I really want to do... what i am going to do is a pub crawl with friends and have the bucket with me... people give far more when they have had a beer or 3!! :O)

Can you get permission from your local Council or whoever to get out there with buckets for small change. Why not kidnap a local dignitary ,with his consentof course and ransom him. Or is that too tacky? Di you are doing well, its amazing. Remember what I said about my sister -in-law,when she did it. She said it was the steps which got her. Really heaps of Luck Rose

Well lets hope that the hostel facilities have showers etc.... as apparently it may be quite primitive where we stay.... so they may well be very very, 5 days of solid walking, PONGY!! :O)

Yes, no now you can see why i am so excited about it all..... NOT!! :O) It takes approx. 2.5 hours for me to do the 8 miles.... and when i am in China I will be walking for 8 hours a day, for 5 days solid.... how much pain am I going to be in?

eek ! I haven't walked that far in years. Furthest I've walked recently is about 5 mile round trip and I was knackered ! lol

3 training sessions this week.... tonight a short one, tomorrow a long one and Thurday another short one.... Really lloking forward to that.... NOT!! :O)

Paul, I told Gaynor on Saturday that i would definitely get her £7k, so £10k is what I am aiming for!! :O) but let's walk before we can run.... once we are at £5,000 then i will raise the bar.... hope that makes sense!! :O)

Bloody hell !! Well done, I looked last night and saw you were at just under £2k... thats great news... maybe we should move the bar up a notch - £10k ? lol
