Does anyone know how long fresh eggs keep, they came from the farm shop, but are not dated, picked straight from the hen-house!..

They should be alright for about a month, probably longer, I always keep mine in the fridge.

Eggs can keep for quite a while To see if they are fresh, put them in a container of water. If they sink down to the bottom, they are fresh. If they float up to the top, they are probably stale. (I would not knowingly eat an egg that floats) If they stay part-way between top and bottom they are between fresh and stale Steve
