Somerset & Cornwall definetly, But I long to hear London accents as I have stopped watching Eastenders the past month or so, seems I better go back to watching it. Find it surprising so many like the Irish Accent, it really depends which part of Ireland, I dislike the Northern Ireland accent very harsh, like some Scottish ones. Some people from Kerry or Cork I cannot understand at all. But there are some nice lilting ones as well. Pat x

Irish accent. The chap in cold feet(can't remember his name) has a lovely accent. Geordie comes a close second. Maxine

David, there's a great book out called "LARN YERSEL GEORDIE". I had a good laugh at it, being a geordie lass. Phrases such as "HOWAT THEN SPARRASANKLES" meaning, would you like to dance.

A soft Irish accent is lovely, and sometimes French depending on who's speaking it - someone like David Ginola - oooohhhhh lovely. Kxx

When I saw the title of the thread, straightaway I clicked to add that Irish is my absolutely favourite accent ... so I couldn't believe how many people thought the same thing! I could definitely listen to an Irishman all day long, would keep my eyes closed if he was ugly lol! Mandy :)
