I dont know about feng shui, but when we lived in our old house it had the most awful feeling. We all constantly felt uneasy there. My step dad did some research and found that we were living on something called crossed lines and we also lived above a very old and ancient graveyard. The place looked so homely and my mum and Lee made the house look beautiful, we had a gorgeous garden but we just didnt feel at home. We also had really bad luck, everything went wrong, my sister fell very ill, my mum lost her job, my stepdad lost two jobs, they constantly rowed and things just went completley down hill. Due to what happened in the house we now live in a council flat, mum has made the flat so homeley and lovely and things have really picked up for us all, i think alot of our bad luck was due to where we lived!!! xx

There are certian aspects that seem to be correct, and more down to simple ergonimics than anything else, but I don't buy into most of it...

There may be something in it, but i find some of it hard to implement. For example, my bathroom is apparently situated in the 'wrong' side of the house, and my stairs are also causing bad luck in their current situation- what am I supposed to do, spend thousands on re-arranging this, I doubt it would make me come into vast amounts of money to make it worthwhile doing. Besides, from my own point of view I like the bathroom where it is!!!

Well I think there are certain principles that make sense. For instance, they say you shouldn't have open bookshelves in your bedroom ... I've got a huge bookcase right beside the bed so I hung some voile over the front. And now it's far more relaxing to look at than shelves full of books. Haven't really tried anything else but wouldn't dismiss it completely. Mandy :)
