Two songs that get me every time (for very similar reasons), and are both Paul Weller are English Rose, "no matter where I roam- my thoughts come back to my English rose- nothing can ever keep them from she", and "I should've been there to inspire you", which is also the title. |

Not inspire so much as just impress me. I think these following lyrics are a really romantic play on words, comparing english language today to years gone by. only got a few minutes left today, (which will please some! lol!) but i was reminded today of the jam song 'thats entertainment'. i was amazed that the line, 'two lovers missing the tranquility of solitude' could be fitted in a song and i thought paul weller was a genious from that point on. i did my hair like his, lol! and everything. any stories?? |
