Is it my imagination or are Wagon Wheels,Jammy-Dodgers,Mars Bars and gobstoppers SMALLER? Oh, and are bangers(fireworks,not sausages) less explosive. I can remember raising drain covers on Bonfire Night. Damn, I shouldn't have said that they will know where to send the bill now. Rose on the Island

I think you are right. Definately would say cadburys cream eggs are a lot smaller, chocolate used to be really thick too. We went to McDonalds the other night and my daughter commented the Big Mac looked a lot smaller and it did! Also penny sweets as a child. I used to love the shrimps. Got some a few years back out of nostalgia and they were nothing like I remembered them tasting. A real let down Diane

I know what you mean about flavours changing. It is a right let down. I still love some of the awful drinks we had as kids. Do you like Dandelion and Burdock, Tizer,and Ice Cream Soda. My co-op still does the last one,but i DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN STILL GET TH OTHERS.

I bought a Bounty Bar yesterday. When I went to pick it up my fingers automatically adjusted to the size they know a Bounty should be. Guess what? THEY HAVE SHRUNK THE BOUNTY BARS!!

The weight of a Mars bar is always changing. The biggest (69 grams I think) was in the late 70s coinciding with Mars 50th birthday.

I like Tizer as well, but am sure it doesn't taste the same!, we used to drink it at Grans house about 37yrs ago!..It's too fizzy now!.. and where's that lovely lime barrel gone out of those milk tray chocs!..
