I put this on the web last week. Hope it works for you. If it doesn't you won't care anyway. 2 bottles med. priced red plonk, Oranges,lemons,cloves gr nutmeg, mace, cinnamon, brandy,just a cup full. Brown sugar if needed to sweeten i inch fresh ginger two tbsp of honey if throat bad. Heat mixture ,don't boil. It is a real old Tudor Recipe for Winter Ague. ENJOY--Rose |

Might have guessed half term and i've got a stinking cold ! Halloween party for daughter (13 on Thursday) to arrange. Crawled upstairs at 7.30 with bottle of Valpolicella. Anyone got an alternative. What works for you ? |
