for years now,ive bought lynx voodoo, and africa......according to their website, they have outsold their competitors, for the past five years...agreed,they're great. so,why change? we now have....lynx dry...and lynx 24/7...and i dont like them. if its not broke, why fix it? bryan..........have also bought brut, for past thirty years, its still going, and it still sells millions of bottles a year. |

So Brut is still going........Yesterday I unearthed a large bottle of Brut that was my late fathers. I kept it as a momento as it was his favorite aftershave. He's been gone 19 yrs and it still smells smashing after all that time Lynn |

very good Bob I guess to answer the original question... sales drop as new products come on the market, so they change old favourites to try and make them popular again... |

I have had the same problem with food products. They claim to be "new and improved" but i have always found it to be the opposite and hate the taste therefore i stop buying the product. I have written to the companies but unfortunately one lonely voice doesn't have much weight. |

Why do they change products. I can't understand it. My husband works in HMPrisons and he always used Head and Shoulders. They changed the smell, which is now dreadful and he won't use it any more. He said 'I can't go into work smelling like a woofter' Why do we need these awful artificial smells in washing powders etc What is wrong with 'Clean' Just that lovely clean washed smell. Rose |
